Over the past year, MW Group’s business area Cyber has had an increased focus on developing its network technology for the property sector. MW Cyber have developed encrypted mesh-based networks that both safeguard and protects the integrity of the end-user, and at the same time meets the high demands that are placed on full coverage in both homes and in public areas. Unlike many established systems and solutions on the market today, our technology is based on open-source code which provides full transparency in the product and enables a high degree of interoperability. This gives the customer a future-proof foundation to build on as the market for IoT devices develops and more areas of use emerge at a rapid pace. MW Cyber sees great potential in the market for smart properties and has several systems already in operation today for both the private and public sector and new products that are applicable for the property market under development.
Both MW Group and Netmore sees that the partnership offers great potential to create a more competitive offer for smart properties. The technical and scientific know-how in each company is complementary. Netmore already has a strong focus on proptech and here MW Group with its ability to perform installations, cutting-edge expertise in cyber security and state-of-the-art mesh networks contribute to strengthening the overall offering to real-estate developers and property owners. It should be noted that Netmore and MW Group already have an established collaboration in other business areas and with this partnership agreement, MW Group becomes a more integrated part of Netmore’s delivery and vice versa.
Netmore is a unique partner with its market offering, clear strategy and high standards. We see a joint offer for smart properties as a good opportunity to apply our concept for building robust mesh networks, and where the flagship product Netmore Proptech Node forms the backbone. In addition to creating a physical and logical cyber-secure network for tenants and the properties’ built-in digital services and systems, the node also enables property owners who want to take ownership of their network, optimize operations and increase the possibility of more revenue streams. We are therefore convinced that this collaboration is a perfect match, says Sakarias Strand, Head of MW Cyber at MW Group
The acceleration of property digitalization and the growing number of digital applications underline the importance of cyber-secure technology. The collaboration with MW Group strengthens our opportunities to offer our customers a digitalization infrastructure that is already planned and adapted to tomorrow’s security challenges and risk landscape.”, says Andreas Stenhager, CCO, Netmore Group
The partnership agreement runs until further notice and provides significant cost benefits coupled with an opportunity for greater growth of the companies’ operations.
