MW Group proudly announces the expansion of its advisory services with the introduction of MW Strategy. This new strategic initiative will provide management consulting services to key decision-makers in the defence and infrastructure sectors, which include energy & renewables and transportation & logistics.
The Business Area will be spearheaded by the new Managing Partner, Åsa Almesjö, and Chief Strategy Officer, Sven Draganja. MW Strategy is envisioned to be the primary choice for strategic infrastructure projects within the Nordic and Baltic regions and by that supplement MW Group’s existing portfolio and further strengthening the company’s ongoing defence and homeland security strategic advisory.
Freddy Jönsson-Hanberg will continue to work within MW Group and contribute to MW Strategy’s customer projects.

Prior to her role at MW Group, Åsa held numerous management consulting positions at KPMG and PA Consulting Group, commencing her career at FMV, and most recently serving as Head of Strategic Infrastructure Advisory at WSP Advisory. Similarly, Sven has a substantial background in consulting, having worked for premier American and British consulting firms like American Management Systems,EY, KPMG, and PA Consulting. Most recently, he was the Executive Director at WSP Strategic Infrastructure Advisory.
