MW Group introduces LogSec to their business portfolio to strengthen the total defence in the Nordics with robust and secure logistics through collaborations between public and private sectors.
Security policy and political tensions are currently adding to an ever-increasing need for build-up and strengthening of the total defence in the Nordics. Amongst other things, the need is increasing for services that ensure security of the supply chain of important goods.
LogSec is launched as a response to this development and will work as a Nordic provider and guarantor of functioning logistics in peace, through crisis and (if need be) in war.
“The Nordic countries need to prepare for increasing global geostrategic uncertainty, among other things due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is why we’re launching LogSec together with YSDS and Booforsen which will serve the total defence through both private and public actors in protecting, storing and transporting important goods” says Mikael Karlsson, CEO of MW Group.
The world is changing fast and new approaches are needed to be competitive. By using the market’s existing resources, LogSec offers military, civilian, public, and private actors in the total defence a secure, robust, and cost-effective logistics service.
